Article 1: Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the use of the PDF AI analysis service operated by startup and provided through Just PDF (hereinafter "Service"), and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Service and its users.

Article 2: Definitions

  • "Service" refers to all PDF upload and AI analysis features provided by Just PDF.
  • "User" refers to any person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
  • "Content" refers to PDF files uploaded by users and conversation records generated through the Service.
  • "Paid Plan" refers to premium services offered under monthly or annual subscription models.

Article 3: Services Provided

  • The Service provides features including PDF file uploading, AI-based document analysis, Q&A, and summarization.
  • The Service is offered in Free and Paid Plans; features available under each plan are specified within the Service.
  • The Service may be temporarily suspended for system maintenance or updates; prior notice will be given as a rule.
  • Service content may be modified as required by operational needs.

Article 4: User Obligations

  • Users must comply with applicable laws and these Terms when using the Service.
  • Users must not upload personal information of others or copyrighted content without authorization.
  • Users may not resell or redistribute the Service for commercial purposes without permission.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and must not share them with third parties.

Article 5: Prohibited Activities

  • Uploading illegal content or content harmful to others
  • Hacking, crawling, or using automated scripts on the Service's systems
  • Impersonating others or creating accounts with false information
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
  • Distributing AI-generated output as false facts or deceiving others

Article 6: Intellectual Property

  • Intellectual property rights to Service content (UI, software, logos, etc.) belong to Just PDF.
  • Copyright to PDF files uploaded by users belongs to the respective users or original rights holders.
  • The Service processes user content only for the purpose of providing the Service and will not provide it to third parties without user consent.

Article 7: Disclaimer

  • AI analysis results provided by the Service are for reference only and do not substitute professional advice in fields such as law, medicine, or finance.
  • The Service is not liable for service interruptions due to force majeure events such as natural disasters or network failures.
  • Users are solely responsible for any legal issues arising from content they upload.

Article 8: Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a dispute related to the use of the Service, Just PDF and the user will negotiate in good faith to resolve it amicably.
  • If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it may be submitted to the competent court in accordance with applicable laws.
  • These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
